I received an emailed from someone new to my community saying that they’re on the brink of facing their fourth bankruptcy and if I had any advice that could help.
Learning about her situation, and how no matter what she does, she ends up in the exact same place made me think of all us- how many times have we found ourselves in the same goddamn situation, over and over again? How many times have you found yourself gaining and losing the same 10, 20, 30 pounds over and over again? How many times have we wound up in the same crappy relationship? How many times have we found ourselves in debt? We get out of debt, and then boom! Somehow we end up right back there.
Even if you’re not finding yourself in some repetitive, crazy cycle, the process that I’m going to describe here, can and should be applied to EVERYTHING in your life!
Simply put, if your life doesn’t look the way you want it to, then this is the exercise that has the potential to change EVERYTHING in your life!

So why is this? Why is it that we get stuck in the same shitty loop, or why we don’t manifest the things we want?
Mahatma Gandhi said it best:
“Your beliefs become your thoughts,
Your thoughts become your words,
Your words become your actions,
Your actions become your habits,
Your habits become your values,
Your values become your destiny.”
Our beliefs lead to the kind of thoughts we have. Our thoughts lead to the kind of emotions we feel. Those emotions motivate our actions. The actions we take over and over again become our habits. And those habits? They add up and shape our LIFE!
For example, if we have a belief that we’re unworthy and not good enough, that leads to thoughts about our appearance and weight, which makes us feel bad and crappy about ourselves, which leads to extreme diets and obsessive exercise. This now becomes our life. And because we can’t maintain this extremeness, we eventually burn out and quit. Gain the weight back, and repeat the whole cycle over and over again. 20 years later, we’ve gained and lost hundreds of pounds.
It is our beliefs and thoughts that keep us in the same negative loop. Now for you, it might not be facing bankruptcy for the fourth time, but for you, it may be that you keep attracting the same crappy partner, the same crappy relationship, the same crappy boyfriend, girlfriend, whatever, or you keep getting the same shitty, low paying jobs. It may be a different job, a different title, but the situation always ends up the same-your coworkers drive you crazy, you don’t like the job, and you hate your boss.
One situation that comes to mind is a client who came to me, struggling to get pregnant. She was like, “I really want to be a mom. I really want to get pregnant. I’ve done all this stuff. I really, really, really want to get pregnant”, and so we talked further. We talked deeper. We talked and talked and talked and through talking with her and really getting to the root cause of how she was feeling, we figured out she had a belief that countered her desire. Her limiting belief was STRONGER than her desire to get pregnant. She had a strong belief that wanted to get pregnant AFTER she lost weight. She didn’t want to get pregnant until she lost weight. She also didn’t want to get pregnant until she hit a certain income bracket, and yet here she was, on the surface saying, “I want to. I want to. I want to be pregnant. Another month has gone by. I’m not pregnant”, but deep, deep, deep inside, she had these beliefs that we’re keeping her from getting pregnant.
Our minds are insanely powerful, so if we believe something strongly enough, it WILL come true. It will manifest in our reality in some shape or form.
Everything that is manifesting in your external world stems from your INTERNAL world.
If something in my life is not manifesting, I have to stop and take a good look at my behaviors, my thoughts and my emotions. I have to ask myself, “what am I feeling? What are my thoughts? What am I thinking about every single day? What fears keep coming up?” And when I heal those limiting beliefs and dissolve the blocks, I move past the bullshit and it’s like a weight gets lifted off my shoulders. I feel so much peace. I feel so much relief. And you know what ends up happening? I ended up manifesting so much amazingness into my life very quickly!
Taking the time to look at the shit that has happened in my life that has caused me pain, that’s caused me fear, that’s caused me to have limiting beliefs and healing it all, it releases it from my soul, releases it from my heart and mind and I am free to manifest only the things I TRULY want!
For all of you that are like me, we have pains, we have fears, we’ve suffered, we’re scared, we feel like there’s something holding us back, we’re not manifesting what we want to manifest, we keep facing the same shitty relationships over and over, the same bankruptcy, over and over, we can’t hold onto any money, we have trouble making friends and whatever else…this powerful and profound process will work so so good for you, if you implement it.
To be able to move forward with our lives, to be able to consciously manifest the prosperity, the love, whatever it is that we want, we have to have a solid emotional and mental foundation. We gotta declutter the shit that lives up in our head, that lives here in our heart, that just weighs on our soul. We have to heal it, release it so we can move on and manifest, consciously manifest, the things that we actually want to.
This exercise is a forgiveness and release process. Hear me out on this…this process is going to require you to be brave and really dig into your past and look at some of the people that have hurt you, that have caused you pain. I want to be super clear on this: forgiving does not mean condoning.
I have forgiven my father for his beatings and molestations. I have forgiven my stepmother for setting me up for a lifetime of body image issues and for saying the most horrendous things to me as a little girl. I have forgiven. I have forgiven and forgiven and forgiven everything and everyone. That does not mean that what happened, what they did, their actions were okay or that I approve of it.
Forgiving does not mean condoning. Forgiving is an energetic release that removes the chains that bind you to this person, situation, event, experience, whatever. When you forgive, you are removing all that poison and toxic shit from your soul and releasing it out and letting it go. When you forgive these people, or things that happened to you, you are removing the chains that keep you bonded to it and keep you from manifesting what you want.
You have suffered enough, you have stressed enough, you have worried enough. Let’s release all of this shit so we can consciously create and manifest a life that we love, a life that we actually want to live. Life is so so short. Even if we have 100,000 years to live, it will feel like it went by in an instant, so the less time we have to spend suffering and stressing and worrying, the better. Instead, let’s spend our time living in joy, peace, helping others and making a difference in this freaking, sometimes insane, world.
This is a serious process so take it seriously. It will work for you.
The Forgiveness & Release Process
STEP NUMBER ONE: Write out a list of any and all painful memories that you may have, anything that triggers you, any memory that has a charge for you.
Write out anything that you are re-living day in and day out, anything that you keep replaying in your head over and over again, anything that causes you pain, stress, etc. Take the time to really sit with this and write everything out. Every painful memory, every resentment, anger, a shitty thing that someone said to you, something that your parents did or an ex-partner or whatever, any memory that causes you pain, that still triggers you, write.it.down.
That’s the key. Any memory that has a charge for you means it is not forgiven and it has not been released from you.
Now, a little side note about this: I like to take my time and really go through my memory Rolodex and write out anything and everything that holds a charge for me. However, you can apply this to a specific area in your life that you want to improve. So you can apply this process to everything in general and your life as a while, or, you can apply it to a specific area only. For example, the person that is on the brink of declaring bankruptcy for the fourth time, she could apply this process to the area of money only, and she could write out every money memory that she has, and every negative money experience that she’s gone through.
We had a cleaning company growing up and we cleaned people’s houses, we cleaned bungalows, we cleaned offices, schools, banks, everything. I remember seeing my stepmother bust her ass working, all day. She would be gone during the day cleaning bungalows and she would work 12, 14 hours days and come home and give my father all her hard-earned money. She couldn’t keep any of the money for herself. And that used to be a negative money memory for me.
Apply step number one for your life as a whole, or apply it to a specific area of your life. Another example, relationships. If you keep winding up with the same shitty person or you end up with someone who has the same behavioral patterns as your ex or whatever, then you can write down every memory with a charge or trigger that you have in the area of relationships.
STEP NUMBER TWO: Now you’re going to write out the beliefs that resulted from these memories. The limiting beliefs, blocks, and bullshit that were born from these memories, from these people, from these experiences. For example, the memory of my stepmother handing her money over to my father, that memory had such a charge on me because it literally instilled the belief that you bust your ass all day and then you give it to some man, and that women can’t be responsible for their own money, that we can’t manage money properly, etc.
My life with my father growing up created some false beliefs that I was unworthy, that I was trash, that I would never be loved.
For step number two, ask yourself, what are the beliefs that have come from this memory? Continuing with the theme of money: when it comes to money, a lot of us have the belief that you have to work really hard to earn money. That rich people are scum. That only “bad” people seem to get wealthy. That money comes and goes, that unless you have a trust fund or get an inheritance you’re never going to amount to any significant wealth and prosperity.
What are YOUR limiting beliefs?
Take the time to figure this out. We have a lifetime of habits that have been ingrained in us and causes pain and causes us to suffer and are affecting our life. So yes, take the time to really figure this out.
STEP NUMBER THREE: Forgiveness & Release Mantra Meditation.
The forgiveness & release mantra meditation has three parts and is so awesome because this is where we let things go and are freed, energetically, from everything that is holding us back. This is where the healing takes place.
- Part One: with your eyes closed you say: Universe, God, Source, whatever floats your boat, you say, “Universe, I give this up to you. Please heal this for me.”
- Part Two: still with your eyes closed you say, “I breathe in forgiveness. I breathe out release.”
- Part Three: then you finish things off and seal the healing by saying: “thank you Universe, for healing this.”
In part one, you are calling upon a power greater than yourself to step in and help you forgive and heal these memories and all the beliefs that come with it. We humans can only do so much. We are spiritual beings having a human experience and so we must call upon our spiritual family to help us do what we cannot do on our own. When you invoke the power of the Universe, or God, or Source or whatever you call your Higher Power, you are inviting a power greater than yourself to step in, work its magic, and free you from the chains that bind.
For part two, as you are breathing in and saying “I breathe in forgiveness” I want you to feel yourself expand, feel the love from your Higher Power setting in, feel yourself being willing to let this go. As you exhale and say, “I breathe out release” really feel yourself releasing the memories, releasing the pain and giving it all over to your Higher Power. Feel yourself letting it go. Do this part as many times as necessary. Once through may be enough, or you may have to do it 10 times through. Keep doing this part until it FEELS good.
Part three is a token of gratitude that signifies this being taken care of for you. That it is done! That you have surrendered the memories and beliefs associated with them to your Higher Power for healing. You have done your part, and now it’s time for Source to do Its part.
Side Effect of This Process
You know how when you do a detox, at first you feel like crap because you’re releasing all the gunk and junk and it makes you feel sick? You may feel exhausted after you do this process. You may feel tired, you may feel moody, you may feel upset. It’s okay. It will pass and it’s totally normal. Just like when we do a detox, at first we feel like shit, but then later on after it’s all been released, we feel so, so good! This may happen to you as well. If you end up feeling wiped out or you feel like you have to cry or you feel tired or whatever, give yourself some downtime. Give yourself the time needed to feel good again. If you feel like going for a walk, do that. Maybe take a slow and rejuvenating yoga class, or lie on the couch with a glass of wine and a bag of salt and vinegar chips and binge watch Netflix! Honor whatever your body needs after you do such a powerful process.
To wrap up this up, I want to finish it by saying that you may have to come back to this and repeat the process again. Some memories, some painful things that we have gone through, they’re not just released right away. But you know what this process does? Each time you go through it, it begins to loosen the hold that these fears and limiting beliefs have on you. So even if it doesn’t work the first time, even if you don’t heal it 100% the first time through, that’s okay because the more you do it, the more it will slowly and slowly be released from you.
This forgiveness and release process will help you heal the root cause of everything and anything, so you can be freed to manifest whatever you want.
This right here, is most likely, the missing key to your manifesting.
When clients tell me that things are not manifesting, this is THE process I have them go through, that changes their life.
